Verdict
A wide open handicap here and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Scott, Nounou, Cotton Easter and Precious Mystery and the tentative vote goes to Scott. The selection won well last time out at York when defeating Night Sight and as that was a boys race he escapes a penalty for that win. He has conditions that suit and off the same mark he is taken to win again. Nounou rates the main danger he also won well when defeating Lennel and he two races off the same mark, but this looks more competitive and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Cotton Easter is another that could go well he also won last time out when defeating Tartiruga but that was on heavy ground and he would be worth taking on unless there was significant rain. Precious Mystery is another that could go well but he ran as if in the handicappers grip when well beaten behind Mith Hill so he is passed over. Of the remainder Alexei is from a shrewd yard and is unexposed so is worth monitoring in the market but for the winner we return to Scott.
