Verdict
Our Emmy Lou is given the confident vote in this handicap with Banningham Blaze, Desert Island Disc and Kythia respected as the main dangers. The selection ran well last week when narrowly beaten behind Ile Facile. That was a big improvement on her juvenile form and with Sir Mark Prescott's string now beginning to find their form she should take a lot of beating. Banningham Blaze goes well on this track but she has been a little disappointing of late and will have to step up on her two most recent efforts to get competitive here. However, she is on a handy mark and the market may provide the clues as to her chances. Kythia and Desert Island Disc are closely matched on their recent run here when the latter narrowly prevailed. They are both capable of making the frame here and they have to be considered as they are still improving. However, Our Emmy Lou looked like a winner waiting to happen last time, and as such she is put forward as our nomination.
