Verdict
This is a difficult contest to call but Jasmine Pearl might be the answer with Blaise Wood and My Girl Pearl the others for the shortlist. The selection ran her best race for some time when second behind Firework at Folkestone last month. She has a good draw here and now that she looks to be finding her form it may pay to stick with her. Blaise Wood will be suited by the drop in trip and he certainly ran well enough here last time over 8 furlongs when second behind Delcienne. He is not ideally drawn but he should be capable of at least claiming some place money. My Girl Pearl is another that ran well on this track last time when fourth behind Ziet D'Alsace. She will be suited by the drop in trip, but she remains a maiden after 27 starts and she can not be backed with any real confidence, even though she has hinted that her turn might not be far away. The rest look a fairly moderate bunch and for the winner we return to Jasmine Pearl.
