      Verdict

Princess Kai, on a handy mark, can take the last with Bonerges and Imperium expected to follow her home. Roger Ingram's filly is 2lb better off for a short -head beating at the hands of Imperium last week over the course and distance. Crucially, the daughter of Cayman Kai has the better of the draw and is expected to turn the tables. Princess Kai may not have won for two years but her handicap mark has slipped considerably as a result. She is another who bounces off the fast ground and she also handles the track. Bonerges is a serious threat. He ran well at Wolverhampton over 6 furlongs - a trip that stretches him - after a course and a distance success. The problem for Milton Bradley's runner is an awful draw in 13. It will take considerable luck and skill from Ryan Moore to get the nine-year old home. Mention has to be made of Imperium. He comes into equations on the back of his victory over the selection. But the revised weights are against him and, as shown by his form figures, consistency is not his strong suit. On the basis of a better draw, the vote goes to Princess Kai.
