Verdict
Veiled Applause gets the vote here ahead of The Gaikwar and King After. The selection was only narrowly beaten on his recent reappearance and having needed a run in the past, he looks sure to come on for that run and could be hard to beat today. He is fully effective on this quick ground and with Seb Sanders back on board, he gets the confident selection. Night Wolf has won over course and distance before so has claims now back on turf off a 5lb lower mark with first-time blinkers on hoping to have the desired effect, whilst The Gaikwar is getting on but is certainly still capable on his day. Kingscape is unexposed so has claims with Jamie Spencer aboard, however Veiled Applause is the most consistent and gets the vote.
