    Verdict

The Blue Bomber takes a fierce hold and has been fading from the last so may do better on quicker ground. Viserion, who completed a hat-trick on the Flat in the summer, is starting to get the hang of jumping judged by last month's run at Leicester. ZALVADOS won twice on heavy ground on the Flat in France and made a satisfactory start over hurdles for new connections at Newbury and his allowance can help him gain his first victory over hurdles. Charmant hasn't shown enough to consider while Invictus, who has won twice on the Flat, hasn't run since June and showed little in two starts over timber.
