        Verdict

        Captain K looks to be treading water off his current mark and is still searching for a first success after finding one too good dropped into this grade at Wolverhampton. Moving Robe posted her best effort so far when a runner-up over 7f in similar company here last month but AFKAR drops down a grade and is preferred. The latter finished ahead of Mowhoob when second at Kempton and was placed again over today’s trip at Newcastle more recently. Lord Murphy showed little in maidens last year but may well improve on today’s handicap debut.
