Verdict
Okikoki gets the vote in this maiden with Argentine and Triple Shadow rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Oi Vay Jo last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and with more improvement likely on this stiffer track he looks the one to be on Argentine rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Supreme Speedster but he has already given the impression he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Triple Shadow is another worthy of respect as he hails from a yard that is in good form and this colt by Compton Place should be closely watched in the market. Of the remainder Gold Spirit and Ice Mountain are others that have shown a modicum of ability and are sure to improve but they may be seen to better effect once handicapped and with this in mind for the winner we return to Okikoki.
