In depth

Verdict

Greek Secret, Island Prince and Sir Orpen are the three for the shortlist here and we take Greek Secret to lead them home. Ann Duffield¿s Island Prince made an eye-catching debut at Thirsk last week, finishing fourth in a big field, beaten just over two lengths. He will come on for the run but it is too early to say how strong the form is. David Barron¿s Sir Orpen ran in that Thirsk race, and finished a little way behind Island Prince and he too should come on for the experience but may find Island Prince finishes ahead of him once more. Greek Secret though looks to have been found a winning opportunity by Tim Easterby. He is experienced, has shown good form to date, and is taking a drop in grade here. He ran well at Pontefract last time, finishing a good third, and he can score in this company.
