In depth
Verdict
Secret Destination's placed efforts have both come on the Fibresand and she was well beaten on Turf at Beverley in April. Marhaba Malayeen never figured on his debut at York and similar underfoot conditions here may not be in his favour but BIRDY BOY ran well for a long way on his debut on the Knavesmire and should last longer today with that run under his belt. Mark Johnston's colt gets the vote as he's less exposed than recent C&D third Team Challenge. Dark Opal got outpaced over 5f here on her debut and even this extra furlong may not be far enough for her.
