I Got Rhythm has obvious claims in this weak contest, with Mark Brisbourne's pair Royal Upstart and Calara Hills worth a mention, along with Cottam Grange. Keith Reveley saddles two here, but I Got Rhythm is definitely the one to be on in this Banded race as she is the only one that has shown winning form lately. The seven-year-old absolutely bolted up over further at Nottingham last week, with Jamie Spencer sitting motionless in the saddle, and although she drops back in trip today, it is hard to look elsewhere for the winner. She has been in winning form over hurdles as well, and that latest victory came on her first run on the Flat for 12 months. The ground will suit and she is used to carrying big weights over timber so her penalty is not a worry here. Mark Brisbourne sets a poser by saddling both Royal Upstart and Calara Hills. The latter was a beaten favourite at Nottingham last time and there has to be a doubt about her stamina on this stiff track so she is worth opposing. Cottam Grange finally came good at the 27th time of asking when successful over hurdles at Market Rasen just over a fortnight ago, and it is amazing that Mick Easterby has taken so long to place him. Any money for him should be noted, but I Got Rhythm is much preferred.
