Verdict
VOSNE ROMANEE clearly has limitations but then again his two runner-up performances at Market Rasen and Newton Abbot still set the standard. Arguably, he's been outbattled on both occasions and therefore it will be interesting to see tactics adopted by Sam Twiston-Davies on the seemingly endless run-in at the Lake District venue. Held up till late on looks the preferred option. Ben Haslam has been enjoying a better time of late so expect an improved showing from Moon Over Rio compared to her tailed-off third on debut over timber at Hexham. She landed a Beverley seller on the level last time and her young conditional claims a very handy 10lb allowance. The market should assist with the newcomers, of which Dry Your Eyes and Dancing Boyz make most appeal on paper, with the former preferred of the pair.
