In depth

Verdict

James Ewart is sparing with summer jumpers but the yard did enjoy a winner here on Saturday and CIVIL UNREST can double the dose. A three-time winner over fences, he's performed respectably the last twice when placed at Perth and this looks to represent a slightly easier task off his unchanged mark. Going Concern has filled the minor placing on both chase starts in Class 4 grade and should improve with experience. He rates the main danger but does seem at his best with some cut in the ground. Redpender disappointed when supported into favouritism here last time but his previous course run when a close-up fourth to Edmund brings him into the mix. Dianne Sayer had a winner here on Saturday too, enjoys a solid course record and her Endeavor is not to be ruled out if producing his best.
