In depth
Verdict
DESERT CRY (NAP) could complete a quick double for Donald McCain as James Cowley's claim reduces his welter burden and his latest third at Aintree looks a cut above anything achieved by his rivals. Uriah Heep has ability and isn't badly treated but rarely puts his best hoof forward. Fred Le Macon has become expensive to follow but May's Boy is a course and distance winner and Tamarillo Grove is capable when in the mood. Boruma is preferred to Tekthelot and Swaledale Lad of the others.
