Verdict
This is a really competitive event with plenty of the 10 runners having claims including Dianne Sayer's consistent Front Rank, Peter Niven's Golden Future, who is now 12lb higher than when winning at Sedgefield in June on his latest start over timber and Tim Vaughan's Holoko Heights, who has won his last three starts but steps up in class from sellers. Santa's Son faces no easy task under the burden of 11st 12lb, while Spirit of The Mist has more to do than when winning a maiden hurdle at Perth last month. Hereford winner Boogie Dancer is another to consider but an 8lb rise for that may prevent him from confirming form with the runner-up that afternoon, TRUMPSTOO, who can go one better and reverse their running that day.
