Verdict
Philip Hobbs has made the trek from Somerset to the Lake District with Thomas Wild for this veterans' chase and the recent Stratford winner should be in the mix with the champion jockey aboard. He does have to concede weight all round though and this is his first sight of this idiosyncratic track. Rebeccas Choice bounced back to form around another unique venue, Fakenham, last time to land the grandly-titled Norfolk National whilst Thelobstercatcher wins in his turn and is a viable Irish challenger. Harry The Viking is going to land a decent chase sooner or later but continues to frustrate whilst SCOTSWELL and Whats Up Woody should both prove competitive after coming home one-two at Kelso last time. There's little between them on the book here but the former has winning course form and that may just tip the scales in favour of the Harriet Graham gelding.
