In depth
Verdict
Unexplored looks set to go close for the in form Howard Johnston yard, but we will give the vote to Brave Rebellion, Nine De Sivola appears to be the only other runner with a serious chance. The selection, a dual bumper winner, has taken time to adapt to hurdling but showed much improved form last time when chasing home Bougoure over a shorter trip here in November. There were some decent types behind that day and with the extra distance likely to suit he looks the best option today. Unexplored fell at the last when in with every chance at Carlisle last time. That wasn't too bad a contest and a big run can be expected this afternoon. Nine De Sivola was an impressive winner at Wetherby last time and if the ground rides soft he will be a big danger to all despite having to give plenty of weight away. The rest make little appeal and so in what looks to be a three horse war Brave Rebellion just gets the verdict.
