In depth

Verdict

Auckland Lodge is penalised for his victory on fast ground at Carlisle and he didn't handle heavy going back there last time. Vintage Times also carries extra for her narrow success on good to soft at Ripon but she's on the upgrade as is Arriba Arriba, who was staying on at Pontefract though may not be as suited by this much quicker track. Keith Dalgleish has his horses in excellent form and BREGUET BOY was well supported on his debut here last week but ran green, losing his pitch before staying on again. He'll know more here and gets the nod, though Spygate has shown enough to suggest there's a race for him somewhere and Lady Nectar made an encouraging debut at Pontefract when Arriba Arriba was second.
