        Verdict

        Red Stripes, nine times a winner on the all-weather, was having his 34th start on Turf when gaining his first victory at Goodwood last week. He has a 6lb penalty to carry but looks certain to give another good account. Boudica Bay completed a double in Class 6 handicaps at Musselburgh, with Economic Crisis close behind on each occasion, before finding a Class 4 event at Thirsk too much to handle. She should be more at home in this grade as should LANDING NIGHT, eight times a winner and now on his lowest-ever mark. Rebecca Menzies has her horses in good form and Clifford Lee can steer the seven-year-old home.
