        Verdict

        Fossos showed plenty of early pace before fading over the 6f trip at Thirsk while Emirati Dirham went close over course and distance before finishing behind runner-up Mokaman back here. The latter failed to figure last time and MARTA BOY struggled over a longer distance on his latest start. But David Evans’ charge has won twice over today’s minimum trip on the all-weather this year, including a defeat of Harswell Prince at Lingfield, so he gets the vote as he’s unexposed on this surface.
