In depth

Verdict

It was soft going when Music Society finished runner-up at Doncaster and Praxeology went close at Carlisle. North Wind’s earlier placed efforts came on the all-weather while Pearl Of Qatar is now 7lb higher than when winning at Hamilton last month. MELODY KING will be sharper for a recent comeback run and, having been beaten only a length off a higher mark when last racing over track and trip, he gets a speculative vote.
