Verdict
CLARAMARA’s dam was a sprinter but she’s been looking a staying type over 1m4 and further. A winner over 1m4f at Beverley last month, Mark Johnston’s filly can take advantage of this drop in grade. Final Choice is a useful hurdler and found only one too good back on the Flat at Chelmsford. He’s only a pound higher so looks the danger, though The Knot Is Tied appeared to appreciate the step up to 2m at Beverley and Russian Royale went close in an amateurs’ race here last month. Druid's Diamond has been dropped a further pound since his third at Beverley but is now 0-25 in career starts.
