In depth

Verdict

A small but competitive affair for this novice chase. A chance is taken on Dix Bay he was a fair hurdler, and had every chance on his fencing bow when unshipping four out, if he gets around he will be hard to beat. Log On Intersky rates the main danger he has been in good form all season and he was a fair fourth behind Artic Fancy in a good handicap at Doncaster last time. He will be hard to beat even under his double penalty. Supreme Fortune was second behind Winchester last time out, a reproduction of that form would see him go close but he is becoming expensive to follow. Baccarat was a fair horse a couple of seasons ago but it is hard to know what to expect after a long absence. Jorn Du Soliel is from a shrewd yard and any market move could be significant. The remainder need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge.
