In depth
Verdict
A field big in numbers but short in quality. Magical Field is confidently expected to break her duck over hurdles. She was a fair fourth behind Spree Vision doing all her best work at the finish. This longer distance will suit and she will be hard to beat. Crazy Maize showed a modicum of ability in bumpers notably on her last run when third behind Rodolfo. she is sure to have been well schooled and has definite place claims. The Byedien has shown a modicum of ability over hurdles and was fifth behind Midnight Creek last time out, a reproduction of that form would see her go close in this moderate affair. Bellefleur was fourth behind Little Sport last time out and although well beaten at least she has experience and is proven on the ground. Any market move for any of the unraced mares should be heeded but on breeding most of them will do better in time.
