In depth

Verdict

Another competitive affair in which many can be given chances, but jockeyship will be all important. Fiolino has the top amateur on board but he has become disappointing of late and he is readily passed over. Tufty Hopper won well at Sedgefield last time out and he will be hard to beat despite his penalty with conditions again in his favour. Jim Bell is another to consider he was a fair third behind Standing Bloom last time and this step up in trip looks sure to suit. Young Claude is a half brother to Young Kenny and although he has shown a modicum of ability he will do better in time. Frankincense won a seller at Sedgefield last time out but he has a penalty for that victory and this is a tougher race. Of the remainder Atticus Finch has shown a modicum of ability and has a good jockey booked and he could run well at a big price with conditions in his favour.
