Verdict

Moscow Leader is out to get recent losses back, and can do so at the expense of Doe Nal Rua and Grey Ciseaux. Moscow Leader was reportedly not suited by the dead ground when down the field at Hereford last time on what was only his third start over fences, and is expected to run much better today on the prevailing underfoot conditions. A winner over hurdles at both Kelso and Wetherby in December, he is on a better mark over fences and has the scope to progress. His main rival is the consistent Doe Nal Rua who topweight to overcome. Tim Easterby's charge ran his best race yet when third to Black Frost at Haydock and may appreciate the step back up in trip here. Further down the weights, Grey Ciseaux makes some appeal. This former hunter chaser has only just gone back over fences after a spell in moderate hurdling company and has the experience to take a hand in proceedings. Mary Reveley is yet to hit top form and neither of her two runners is anything special. so for the winner we return to Moscow Leader.
