Verdict
Smart Danny, Chase The Rainbow and Miskina are the three to focus on and Smart Danny would not have to be what his name implies to make a winning debut. He is a half-brother by the high-class Australian runner Danzero to Smart Predator and, particularly if the market speaks in his favour, can go well. Chase The Rainbow hails from the Mark Johnston stable and should be better than her debut fifth here over two furlongs shorter suggested. This trip is more likely to suit her. The in-form Mick Channon saddles Miskina, who was ninth on her debut at Redcar over today's distance. She clearly needed that but, in a run of the mill maiden, this well-bred daughter of Mark Esteem has to come into the reckoning. Overall, though, it might pay to take a chance on Smart Danny.
