Verdict
With Tim Easterby's team in good form at present, Fizzlephut can add to the tally at the expense of Ne Oublie and Farthing. Fizzlephut caught the eye of the stewards when third to Namir at Thirsk last time, as he was given a tender ride by Fergal Lynch who stated that the gelding was too keen and still green. It was still a fair effort, and he will be interesting to note when going into handicaps. He has been dropped back in trip on each of his three starts to date, and has been found what appears to be a suitable opportunity to open his account, with a low draw to help. Ne Oublie improved as time went on last term, and was up against the useful Vanadium on his reappearance at Nottingham. That suggests that he too will be winning before long. Farthing has had lots of chances already and seems to save his best efforts for the all-weather, and with nothing else standing out, Fizzlephut can surely improve enough to open his account.
