        Verdict

        Prairie Sun can make the most of the weight that he receives from his rivals to win this staying contest, with Hernando's Boy, Sovereign State and Inchnadamph seen as the main dangers. Prairie Sun gained a comfortable victory over hurdles here in December, and was produced fit and ready after a break to score on the Flat at Musselburgh on Monday evening. That was an apprentice affair, and Saleem Golam, who was in the saddle then, keeps the ride. Ann Duffield's filly already has bottom-weight and her rider can claim a further seven-pounds, so things look good for the selection. Hernando's Boy has also been in action over timber during the winter, and indeed was successful at Kelso on his last start in April. That was over an extended two and three-quarter miles though, and he does appear to need a more galloping track. Sovereign State is another that has been successful here over hurdles, but he is basically Banded class on the level, while Inchnadamph posted a good effort behind Greenwich Meantime at Doncaster but has to give weight away all round. Prairie Sun can make the most of her light burden to follow up.
