        Verdict

        Mount Ephram and Maureen's Lough have both managed to reach the winners enclosure so have to be respected here, but we will give the vote to Tonight. Mark Brisbourne's gelding has performed with credit in all three races to date, despite running as if in need of the experience. He should be just about spot on now and can improve past the more exposed runners in the line up. Mount Ephram and Maureen's Lough met at Redcar back in June in the seller won by Princely Vale. Mount Ephram was four lengths ahead of his rival on that occasion but is six pounds worse off today so it should be a lot closer. Kevin Ryan won this event twelve months ago so his representative Miss Trendsetter is worth a cautionary look in the betting, but in a race where bets should be kept on the small side, Tonight is just given the verdict.
