In depth
Verdict
Trew Style, Osolomio and Mighty Moon are shortlisted in this handicap and the vote is given to Osolomio. The selection is a course and distance winner and although he was disappointing last time, that was on the all-weather and he is better on the turf. He won well here on his penultimate start and we think he can go in again. Trew Style won well last time out when beating Linden Lime but that was over a longer trip so it is a bit of a puzzle to see the horse dropped in distance today. Mighty Moon chased home the progressive Generous Jem at York last time. He should again run his race here but although effective on a quicker surface, he is best with plenty of cut in the ground. Harvest Warrior would have claims on his best form but he seems to have gone off the boil of late, so he is probably best watched. All of which returns us to Osolomio as the pick.
