Verdict

Alec Stewart has enjoyed a fine season so far and the Clarehaven representative Shoof may prove the answer in a weak contest. The Dayjur filly was a shade disappointing on her Nottingham seasonal reappearance but would have solid claims on her Leicester effort in October when sixth, beaten four lengths, behind Trojan Princess in an above average maiden that is working out particularly well. Long Tall Sally has had her limitations exposed in moderate sprint handicaps so the twice-raced Royal Lady, who takes a drop in class having finished in mid-division in a backend Newmarket maiden when last seen, rates a bigger danger.
