In depth

Verdict

Fluent had shown little in maidens but showed improvement when narrowly denied in claiming company at Salisbury earlier in the month and looks the type who can make the most of a lenient mark. Omniscient finished a length and a half behind in third and will struggle to reverse the form on 2lb worse terms but both Promising and General Hawk have been shaping encouragingly of late and should go close in a difficult contest.
