Verdict

It was soft going when PLACEBO EFFECT won a seller at Ripon in good style just four days ago. Ollie Pears’ charge is taken to go in again despite the unfavourable terms with Shovel It On. The latter finished a bit closer in a handicap at Haydock last time but has yet to encounter today’s going. The same comment applies to Pearl's Calling while Society's Dream steps up from 5f along with Miss Mazzie, who posted a much better effort in a claimer here a fortnight ago.
