Verdict

Soft going is an unknown to all of these with the exception of Optimickstickhill, who was well beaten at Doncaster on last month’s debut. Duke Of Freedom and Sunbreak are others with plenty of improving to do but STAR OF ZAAM should go close if handling the ground. The latter has placed in three of four starts to date including over today’s trip at Carlisle. Northern Angel is a sister to a winner over 6f while The Auld Hoose and By Royal Approval are other newcomers to note.
