Verdict
A very tricky contest to end proceedings and we will take a chance on Border Terrier, with Prize Ring and Little Task just two of many dangers. Micky Hammond's six-year-old has not been at his best since winning a better race at Newcastle last September, but showed signs of a return to form when finishing third behind Scurra at Ayr earlier this month. Prize Ring landed a seller at Necastle last season and comes here after a successful hurdling campaign, he must enter calculations. Little Task is the current form horse having given Archirondel a neck beating in a similar event at Musselburgh last time. Margold and Righty Ho have recent placed efforts to their name and can also figure in the finish, but Border Terrier may be on his way back and he gets our vote.
