        Verdict

        Xanadu had Laurel Dawn behind when making all at Hamilton earlier in the month and looks sure to go well once again despite a subsequent 7lb rise. Laurel Dawn took full advantage of a lenient mark to land handicaps at Musselburgh and Beverley but may now struggle off his revised rating. Blessingindisguise bounced back to form at Thirsk last weekend and is one for the short list off the same mark while Tancred Times showed her time was near at hand after a fine Newcastle fourth last time.
