In depth

Verdict

Cherokee Bay incurs a 6lb for a comfortable Windsor success late last month and, with further improvement anticipated, sets the standard. Both Evangelist and Park Star are more exposed and have been penalised for narrow all-weather wins while Queens Jubilee was disappointing last time. Leonor De Soto failed to make an impact on her debut and needs to show significant progress but Looking Down, a daughter of Compton Place from a top yard, is worth noting in the beting exchanges on her debut.
