In depth

Verdict

Michael Maher showed considerable promise in a Sandown minor event last month and possibly failed to stay when a beaten favourite over ten furlongs last time. Magnifico was uneasy in the market before running as though something was amiss on his Kempton debut but should not be dismissed out of hand while Mitchella shaped encouragingly on her Windsor debut and is capable of better. John Gosden's stable has been in good form and the newcomer Mythical Charm is worth noting in the market.
