Richard Hannon sent Pepita across to Ireland last month but she never figured in a Listed race at Naas. She had shown promise at Goodwood before that but TEOFONIC may have the measure of her in this. Mark Johnston’s filly romped home by five lengths at Pontefract recently and a 4lb penalty for that success looks unlikely to anchore her. Island Vision and Cj Parker have some improving to do to keep tabs on the aforementioned pair while Ciel Rouge faces a tough task on her racecourse debut.
