        Verdict

        A decent sprint handicap can go to ENCORE D’OR. He was up against it taking on higher rated opposition in Listed company last time but had landed a double on the all-weather before that including a defeat of Bowson Fred at Wolverhampton. The latter has hit top form subsequently winning at Musselburgh before scoring over track and trip with Dynamo Walt well beaten. Shamshon missed the whole of last year and this looks easier than both tasks so far this season while the selection’s stablemate Normal Equilibrium finished just ahead of Royal Birth at York earlier without threatening the winner. The latter beat Brother Tiger over track and trip back in January while King Crimson and Kingsley Klarion are both upped in class.
