      Verdict

      Lord Riddiford won over track and trip recently beating Tropics, Udontdodou and Royal Birth, who won this in 2016. The runner-up re-opposes on much better terms today including an apprentice’s allowance but ran below par in this contest last year when JUST THAT LORD finished third. Racing off a lower mark, Michael Attwater’s charge may prove good enough this time around. Embour won at Kempton on his only previous start on the all-weather and could go well but Mokaatil has yet to win on the all-weather and Spoof has not been at his best recently.
