Verdict

Lady Bergamot beat White Chocolate to land this race last year but is 4lb higher today and this looks a more competitive renewal. Maid Up won a Group 3 race at Goodwood last season but has struggled since and finished a long way behind third-placed Bayshore Freeway in another Group 3 event over today’s trip at York last month. The latter should go close and is preferred to Eden Rose but HIGHGARDEN was last seen in action winning a Group 3 contest over 1m4f at Newmarket in September and John Gosden’s filly is taken to make a winning reappearance with more to come over this longer distance.
