Verdict

The shock winner of last year’s 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, BILLESDON BROOK has failed to threaten since including in the Lockinge last time. But this is much easier and Richard Hannon’s filly can return to winning ways having won her only previous start on the all-weather. Victory Wave has been progressing nicely in handicaps and is worth a try at this level while Heavenly Holly beat Crossing The Line and Island Of Life at the All-Weather Championships and can also figure. The latter is preferred to stablemate Solar Gold and Tiger Eye but the French challenger Comedia Eria finished runner-up in a Listed race at Longchamp last time and a tongue-tie is added today
