Verdict

Rated 90, LEXINGTON REBEL should be winning this opener. Richard Hannon’s charge found life tough in Group 3 company last time but an apprentice’s allowance negates most of a penalty for an earlier success at Chepstow and he should have the measure of Abadie, who will need to improve on his second start after wind surgery to figure. The newcomers will need to be above average to make a winning start with Pinatar boasting a speedier pedigree than both Seasony and Animal Instinct.
