Verdict

A tricky start for punters with half of this field having won their latest outing. Yoshimi is preferred to the more-exposed International Lion and Viceregent of Richard Fahey’s trio but a narrow vote goes to ATHEEB. Sir Michael Stoute has booked Colm O’Donoghue for his Haydock winner, who will appreciate a further step up in trip being related to stayer Bartholomeu Dias. Improving Thirsk scorer Plymouth Rock is a danger, however, while Top Buck has already won over a mile at Bath. Tell Me All won over an extended 7f at Beverley and may not have been suited by the sharper track at Lingfield when failing to land the odds.
