      Verdict

      Mubtasim failed to win last year but was placed over 7f in the Jersey Stakes at Ascot. Danzeno won at Ascot last summer and is 2lb lower though arrives out of form but Double Up finished in front of Mazzini when scoring at Kempton in November and ahead of Ice Age in the Cleve Stakes at Lingfield subsequently. LANCELOT DU LAC makes most appeal back on the all-weather after an outing at Doncaster and Dean Ivory’s sprinter gets the vote having defied top weight to land a decent handicap at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start.
