Verdict

Byres Road has been placed in both starts to date but was still beaten over six lengths when favourite a Lingfield last time. BLACKLISTER was runner-up at the same track last time when just failing to get to the winner and Mick Channon's charge has the beating of the likes of Zoffany's Way, Dilly Daydream and Let There Be Light on today's terms. Both newcomers are worth a second glance given West Coast Flyer is out of a prolific dam and Cold Fusion is a half-sister to multiple winner Noguchi.
