    Verdict

Some potentially smart hurdlers in opposition including The Last Cast, who after a couple of promising efforts, has landed his last two starts at Bangor and Market Rasen in the manner of a most progressive individual. There should be more to come from this likeable type but he may prove vulnerable here under his penalty. Hurdling debutant Serotonin lost his way on the Flat latterly but had previously shown himself to be a useful middle-distance performer. However, his lack of experience may count against him while Silver Charmer needs to improve so the vote goes to Vanormix. Martin Pipe's ex-French Flat racer goes well in testing conditions and showed plenty of encouragement when second of 20 in a useful novice event at Newbury earlier in the month. Sure to have benefitted from the experience, the highly regarded son of Linamix should take plenty of beating.
