Mark Johnston rarely leaves Chepstow without a winner, therefore MAGIC OMEN is difficult to get away from with both Youm Jamil and La Pantera worthy of mention. The selection runs in his first handicap after finishing second on all three starts to date and with a rating of 76 he looks fairly treated and looks difficult to oppose. Youm Jamil has shown a decent level of ability in his three outings to date and ran a personal best on his seasonal reappearance. He looks a horse with a promising future and warrants plenty of respect. La Pantera showed promise after finishing third of eleven at Wolverhampton last time out. He runs off the same mark of 77 and can once again enter the frame. Magic Omen is the form horse in the race and is taken to win on his handicap debut.
